Italian Villa Wedding – Fresh from the Fearless Award for the beautiful photo of Carlotta and Dario on their yellow fiat 500, today I gladly disclose the whole story: what was before and what happened after the car ride on the 500 with the wind messing up the bride’s hair 🙂
I do it with a little nostalgia because the wedding took place in August and the next day I was to leave for a bit of summer holidays on the Italian Alps, like I often do to recharge batteries in between weddings and take a quick break from work and from the heat.
These photos tell of a sunny day in places that we often take for granted, but that the world envies us. All it takes is just a look at the photos of Villa Faraggiana, originally commissioned at the beginning of the 16th century by the Genoese family Durazzo to impress their guests, who were pontiffs and heads of state, as Marcello Durazzo was Doge of the Republic of Genoa, which at the time was like being the equivalent of the sultan of Brunei today.
Dear Carlotta and Dario, it was a pleasure to spend that beautiful day with you and it is with the same pleasure that now I’m sharing some of your photos 🙂
