Luxury Wedding Villa d’Este Lake Como: Esther and David have chosen to get married in Italy, in the unique setting of Lake Como organizing their wonderful wedding in Villa d’Este, Cernobbio. I very gladly agreed to join them to tell the story of their day. The story of a day that they shared with their loved ones, coming from everywhere in the world (literally!).
Whenever I get to see a customer in person for the first time only on the day of the wedding I sometimes have a little anxiety, anticipating that ‘first impression’ moment. This often happens with foreign couples, that I may have talked with via Skype or on the phone in the months and weeks before the date. However, Esther and David put me totally at ease immediately, with their friendly personality and very gentle manners. It has been a pleasure to work for them from the very first minute, and it is a privilege to have been their wedding photographer.
A wedding photographer has the responsibility to tell the day of the couple with images that future generations will use to have a glimpse of what it was like before they were born. With images that will become the key for the couple to access their emotions of that day. To gain a couple’s trust is to receive a delegation to craft a part of their affective heritage as a family. And I can assure you that I keep all this always in mind!
We Italians are fortunate to live in a wonderful country, rich in natural beauty and in cultural and artistic heritage, which is why Italy is often a destination for couples who choose our country to celebrate their wedding. A wedding in Villa d’Este on Lake Como is a unique event as it takes place in a unique location, beautiful and fascinating. Just like this fantastic couple.
