Such a magical place for a wedding! Just steps from Piazzale Michelangelo, the terrace of Villa la Vedetta lies in the magic spot to turn Florence into a stunning backdrop to the wedding reception. Quite no other place like it for a quintessential luxury wedding in Italy, really.
Italy Documentary Wedding Photographer
Hollie and Chris fell in love with Florence during a trip to Italy a few years back and decided they would pick the Renaissance capital of the world to celebrate their wedding, flying friends and family in from the UK. I was in touch with them over a year in advance to discuss their wedding photography. They were looking for a documentary style photographer, able to work unobtrusively, stay close to the action and turn the emotions of their day into pictures. Which sums up quite literally my own way of working. This was a wedding with heart, of two people clearly meant to be together surrounded by close family and friends. So for me it was just a matter of keeping out of the way of the emotions flowing and trying to make everything fall right into place in my images.
Shooting this Villa la Vedetta wedding was a true blast for me, even more so since I worked side by side to some of the best vendors in the business. I’m so thankful to Hollie and Chris for wanting me as their photographer and to all the seasoned pros that helped make this such a great wedding!
