Wedding at Santuario di Vicoforte – September is the month when everything seems to start again after a month-long summer break: the ‘normal’ world resumes its routines, with more or less renewed momentum after recharging batteries. Not exactly the case for those who work in the wedding industry, because summer is now full wedding season and those like me who usually wear dark clothes while working, have very little love for heat and full sun. Rather, never having stopped photographing and editing so far, I resume updating this blog: projected now as I am towards the 2016 season, it seems appropriate to go back to marketing my work on a regular basis.
And I do so today by sharing the story of Virginia and Samuele, which took place on a Saturday of July – probably the hottest of the last 150 years. The photographs tell of the mixed emotions that the bride and groom live on their wedding day: excitement, nervousness, joy, satisfaction, not without a veil of nostalgia because life, like a book, is made of chapters and white sheets to write at every turn of the page.
