Wedding Orangerie Villa Lagorio – I wonder if Francesca and Marcello had imagined their wedding on their beloved sea of Liguria this way. Certainly the Orangery of Villa Lagorio in Celle Ligure offered the ideal terrace view for that, in the setting sun. That had me thinking how lucky I am to live in a place like this. Better not give it for granted.
What Liguria is missing vs some of the more famous coastlines in Italy, I have yet to understand. Certainly it had less ability to enhance a unique landscape and cultural heritage. That, for sure. And a less than ideal management of the territory, so to speak. Oh well, classic-ligurian rant aside, it is always great to live and work in such places.
What else to say, if not that much better than the way it went, this wedding couldn’t go. For my part it was a very pleasant day, where I didn’t have to struggle to tell the story of a enthusiastic and very much in love young couple. A couple who wanted to surround themselves with relatives and close friends to celebrate their day in a relaxed, fresh, informal day with a lot of attention to detail.
